Lash Lift

Lash lifts are a great alternative service to extensions-- they are easy to maintain and don't require any commitment! Depending on how dramatic of a curl you are looking to achieve, a consult will take place prior to every service to discuss goals and curl styles. A series of solutions will be placed on to your lashes after they have been adhered to your desired shape. A tint is offered as an add on service. A growth serum and/or treatment will only make your lifts that much better! Lash lifts can last anywhere from 6-8 weeks with proper aftercare.

Receiving an eyelash extension service is a process in which an individual is looking to create the appearance of thicker and more elongated lashes. Individual synthetic eyelashes come in a variety of different shapes, sizes and thicknesses. Every artist and client is different but, it is crucial to choose the appropriate sizes necessary to fit that clients specific lash type. Extensions are carefully applied one at a time to create a custom look best suited for the clients natural lashes. The process can take anywhere from 2-3+ hours when applying a full set and fill appointments are usually about an hour to and hour and a half in duration.

Full Set

The best part! The goal for full set appointments is to get 100% coverage. An extension on every healthy natural lash. This is why it takes 2+ hours for the first appointment. Each set is customized and created based off each individual's lash type. A consultation will take place prior to your appointment to go over my consent form, details about aftercare, face/eye shape evaluations, styling and maintenance. 

Fill Maintenance

Your fill-in appointments are required every two to three weeks (14-21 days) from your last scheduled visit to maintain your extensions after receiving a full set service. It is important to stay consistent with your maintenance appointments to ensure your natural lashes are staying healthy and happy. Natural lashes grow in three cycle phases every 4-6 weeks. They are constantly growing, shedding and producing new lashes. You must retain at least 30% of your extensions to consider it a fill-in service. During the fill, all lifted and grown out lashes will be taken off and replaced with new extensions. ​A consult will need to be scheduled to accommodate any appointments past 21+ days and may result in a new full set.​

Foreign fills

Lashes from another artist? We can accommodate a fill on top of another artists work if a consultation is scheduled prior to scheduling a foreign fill and lashes are approved to our standards. We cannot guarantee that we will accept a fill service--LASHFOX will not fill on top of extensions that are damaging natural lashes. This includes lashes that are stuck together due to poor fundamental application. LASHFOX reserves the right to refuse service if client denies removal.

Classic

Classic technique offers a basic intro to lash extensions. First timers, this is a great option for you! Extensions are applied using a 1:1 ratio, one extension per one natural lash. These sets can be designed to be subtle, soft, natural, long or short!

Hybrid

The best of both worlds! A little classic, a little volume. These unique sets are best chosen to create some fun wispy texture throughout the lash line. All volume fans are handmade during time of the appointment.
​An equal amount of time is spent applying both classic lashes and volume fans.

Volume​

​Each set is created using a ratio between 2:1-6:1 hand made, volume fans. This technique is skilled and can be used to give clients a dense, full and dramatic look. Volume fans are created during the time of service, this allows for a proper weight application to maintain the health of natural lashes.

Lash Extension Aftercare

Clean Lashes

Clean your lashes daily with appropriate lash cleansers and brushes using soft circular motions focused on the lash line. Cleanser will trap oil and debris that builds up naturally. Rinse and splash with water to remove and blot till dry. 

​Coming in with clean natural lashes and extensions are crucial to proper application. Upon arrival, if you have makeup or lashes that have not been properly cleaned, you will be asked to clean them prior to your appointment. This will cut in to our lashing time together and it is very important to keep up a regimen for clean lashes at home.

Brush

Brushing morning and evening or 2x daily, can help to stimulate lash growth and encourage natural lash oils down the hair shaft. It's important to remember that extensions are heavier while wet, wait till they're dry before brushing them out. It's recommended to brush slowly and carefully starting from the middle of the extension to tips in an upward motion.

Break up with your make-up

Eye liner, including gel, pens, pencils, and pots are HARD on your extensions. Mascara and liner will adhere to your extensions and can cause bacteria to build and grow. This can cause stress, premature falling out, and damage to your natural lashes. You are encouraged to reconsider extensions if you are unable to part ways with your liner and mascara.

Oil and oil based products can break the adhesive bond between the extension and the natural lash. This means your extensions can pop off faster than they should! Oil based products come in a variety of items, from face cleansers to eye creams. 

Swimming, heat & humidity

Changes in humidity and temperature may also cause your extensions to come off sooner than they should. The adhesive used during service is bonding at a time in which the humidity in the room is at a certain percentage range. Some activities can alter the state at which the adhesive sets. These activities may include traveling, swimming, saunas, hot tubs, and heated yoga/spin classes. Staying away from intense heat is also crucial for your lashes. Hot heat can singe your extensions, this includes BBQ's, ovens, and fire pits.

Be gentle

Under any circumstance do NOT pull, tug, pick, twist, pluck, squish, or cut your lash extensions. This will cause tension on your lashes and will most likely cause damage. If for any reason your extensions are bothering you and/or causing any sort of pain or discomfort, reach out to your lash artist. Removing extensions yourself can be harmful to your eyes and your natural lashes. Please leave it to professionals.

Maintain your fill Appointments

It is crucial for clients to maintain their extensions with their lash artist. Letting your extensions "fall off naturally" or pushing fill appointments out too far can cause damage and irritation to the eyes. It is not recommended. If the maintenance every two to three weeks is too much for you, lash extensions should be taken off by a professional with top grade products if you're ready to take a break.
